I expected a fun heist movie based on the trailer, but this isn"t it. The movie starts off with a weird Hugh Grant monologue that sounds like he"s reading off a manuscript for a play, and that scene is also filmed like it"s a play. The film is extremely slow and annoyingly verbose. Also, the person who was in charge of sound/volume didn"t pick up that the dialogue is at a very low level of volume in comparison to sound effects and background music. I had to keep modulating our volume on the TV. They throw f-bombs every 3 words, which I"m assuming is supposed to make it artsy and edgy and mature, but it"s just annoying.
